Leigh, I did go over and register today at the original site.  On this site, I have not been able to get in for a few days, but today it seems to be working great.  Haven't received the confirmation yet on the original site where I registered today.  Looking forward to it.

Pigeons and doves are different.  I have mourning doves in my small backyard.  They poop on my fence, in the bird feeder, and occasionally fly into my covered patio, sit the ceiling fan blades and poop.  You'd think they would appreciate being fed premium sunflower chips, and would take their pooping elsewhere!  Oh, well.  It's not so bad, and they are really entertaining to watch.

I had spring-like days for the weekend and also the past two days. Now it's cloudy, cooler, and supposed to be subfreezing tonight - rain, possibly wintery mix on Friday.  I think Mother Nature has forgotten that this is the Deep South! Blue birds are nesting, spring shrubs and trees are in bloom .... but my hummer still hasn't returned.  I think he knows things we don't know.

Hoping the cooler weather expected at the end of this week will be the last; but, we've all seen surprises in April.  Never fear .... spring will come .... and we'll be enjoying blooms, birds, bees, warm temps ...... and probably NO RAIN, about which we (I) will more than likely complain.  Can't please us!?!?!?

You may not have noticed that the internet address of this site is not "secret garden", but "sercetgarden".  So if you typed in 'secret' you would not get to the site.  If you are using Internet Explorer for internet access, the best way to add it to your favorites is to put it on your favorites toolbar.  To do that, when you are on the main page of the site, click on the word 'favorites' up on your Internet Explorer toolbar.  A drop down menu will appear, and you just need to select "add to favorites bar".  Once it is on the bar, you can then 'right click' on it and select 'rename' and name it Secret Garden.  It will then always be available to you right there on the tool bar.  Hope this helps.

Heavy rain and winds and storms all around yesterday.  Today I have to go out and cleanup all the stuff that has blown around in the yard.  At least the serious storms didn't hit my neighborhood this time.  We just have to expect these spring storms in my area.

I've had such a wet, rainy winter that any day without rain is a good day.  It was 30 degrees this morning, but I went out anyway to take ornaments, etc. off my fence.  It's time to apply stain/sealer again.  I forgot how many things I had put on the fence until I began taking them off!  The gardens themselves have so many things coming up, it's going to be difficult to step without crushing something. Wanted to get this done before things started coming up, but it's been too wet.

Sherry, I kept email addresses for most of the GT folks.  I'm not sure if they are all still good, but I have two Linda's but don't know if either is Crazykaos.  Linda Bruckner or Linda Dahlke.  I'll be glad to send emails if you think one of these may be correct.
