We had a beautiful day today....on Saturday we got a really brief, but noisy lightening and thunder storm...one boom was so close sounded like it hit the house..all of the lights went out..which isn't unusual for us..but this time they went out at 7:30 pm Saturday and didn't come back on again until Sunday about 5:00 pm...fortunately we didn't have a big Easter dinner planned...so cereal and milk or peanut butter and crackers were  the order of the day..when we don't have electricity we also don't have water cuz we have a well..if I would have had any warning I would of at least filled the bathtub...the lightening struck power lines and blew out five transformers...guess we were the last transformer on the list to be fixed and being Easter they had a skeleton crew on..oh well memories..today it's been great.

Peggy..I was telling a friend about the deer and the fencing..she said they are probably announcing my garden to the entire deer network...and I said yes....twittering each other..lol.

I weeded the lower raised garden a few days ago...today I cut back a bunch of brush..plants (woods) surrounding my upper raised garden.  We are going to put some t-posts in and string some wire around the garden and attach it to a solar fence charger..just in the visiting deer or two from last year decide to return..never run out of things to do..Peggy I still have a lot of pruning to do too..I always see something new..

Here we have been in the high 50's and 60's during the day...still anywhere from 28 to 35 at night..though they are just beginning to warm up a bit.
